About
The VVMCCSA Club was formed in 1956 with the objectives of:
- The encouragement of interest in and the preservation and restoration of Veteran, Vintage and post-vintage motorcycles.
- The holding of shows and exhibitions, running of rallies,reliability trials, gymkhanas and the like.
- The collection of historical material relating to motorcycles.
In 2026 the club will be celebrating its 70th year with a huge gathering and rally based at Goolwa.
Membership of the club is open to all, whether or not you own a motorcycle.
History
The VVMCCSA was started by a group of people dedicated to preserving pre 1930 Motorcycles. The first meeting took place on November 29, 1956 at Playford Street, Glen Osmond, and the club was formed.
The Club Badge
At the General Meeting of June 6, 1961, a committee was formed to design the Club badge. This committee consisted of Reg Hancock, Barry Wasley and Chris Harley. Their design was presented and accepted at the General Meeting of 6-3-1962.
