Motorcycles-only Swap Meet, Sunday 5th October 2008

Yet again the sun shone on the annual VVMCCSA Motorcycles-only Swap Meet at Balhannah Oval. Organized by Peter Yates and supported by faithful club members who  braved the near sub-zero temperature to man the entrance gates, the event went off like clockwork. Well almost: the Balhannah oval was under repairs (new watering system) but we found reasonable parking around the boundary to cater to the buyers and sellers.

Of course the usual array of "bargains" were on offer, and even a complete - or complete-ish! - bike or two.

Everyone had an enjoyable day, particularly after the sun rose and warmed up the atmosphere! In addition to the usual trading, we were joined by the Norton Owners Club for a display of machines. Thanks to everyone who attended, and particularly to those who helped out with the organisation and provided machines for the display. See you next year!
