Moseley on Down to Moseley Square Glenelg, Sunday 9th March 2008

The club recently accepted an invitation from the City of Holdfast Bay to assemble a static display of club members’ motorcycles in Moseley Square on Sunday 9th March.

The Council kindly supplied the venue in the heart of Glenelg along with seating, market umbrellas and shade tents for members to access whilst the bikes were on display for two hours. The weather department provided a sunny day, albeit a little too warm for some as the mercury simmered towards 40 degrees, however there was a slight sea breeze.

Despite the warm conditions there was a good show of interest from the public that ensured the club received some valuable exposure. Plenty of interest was shown with the oldest machine, Leon’s 1903 California, and Ron’s restoration in progress (Norton OHC).

Thank you to those members who made the effort to attend and bring a machine or two down to Glenelg for the morning, it was greatly appreciated.
